About the event
Hi, I’m Vanessa from Be/Here. I created our Chit Chat Safe Space because so many people tell me the same thing — “I don’t need therapy right now, I just don’t want to feel so alone.” And that feeling makes complete sense.
Chit Chat is a gentle, low-pressure space where you can come exactly as you are. You don’t need the right words, a clear story, or even the energy to talk much at all. You’re welcome to listen, to share a little, to laugh, to be quiet — all of it is okay here. There’s no agenda, no expectation to “open up,” and nothing to fix.
For many LGBTQIA+ people, connection can feel complicated. We’re often used to masking, scanning rooms for safety, or feeling like we have to explain ourselves. This space is about putting that down for a while. It’s about being around others who understand without you having…
