Trans and Non-Binary Therapy

You should not have to explain the basics of who you are in the therapy room.

At Be/Here, we offer specialist therapy for trans and non-binary people that is grounded in care, respect, and real understanding.

Whether you are questioning, exploring, transitioning, coping with dysphoria, navigating systems that feel exhausting, or simply carrying too much on your own, this can be a space where you do not have to shrink yourself to be understood.

We know that gender identity is not the problem.

The pressure, fear, misunderstanding, and systemic barriers around you often are.

What support might look like?

Therapy can support with:

  • dysphoria and body-based distress

  • anxiety, overwhelm, and shutdown

  • identity exploration

  • coming out or not being out

  • grief, anger, or rejection

  • relationships, family, and boundaries

  • burnout from being misunderstood or hyper-visible

  • medical gatekeeping, workplace stress, or social exhaustion

Some people arrive with a very clear reason for reaching out.

Some just know they are tired.

Both are welcome here.

What makes Be/Here different?

Being “affirming” is not enough.

At Be/Here, our therapists have additional LGBTQIA+ specialist training beyond their core qualifications, and our approach is rooted in ethical, trauma-informed practice.

That means you are less likely to end up in a room where your identity is treated like a side note, misunderstood, or something you need to educate someone about.
